Successful CEO Sam Curtis has a thriving business and a vaguely functioning relationship and he's relieved to finally be able to introduce a fiancée to the sister who has begged him to settle down. When his fiancée chooses the night of their dinner to call things off, Sam is desperate not to disappoint his sister on her one night in town - or admit failure to the one person who has always been there for him.

Personal tragedy has left Charlotte Wilson determined to avoid relationships - until her sister arranges her a blind date she can't back out of.
