The craftsman

The book presents a literary panorama of the late 19th century in Bogota and focuses on the reconstruction of the readers of the artisan press. The text starts from the analysis of two newspapers: El Taller and El artesano, in order to determine the reading practices of artisans during the Regeneration in Colombia and to propose a profile for empirical readers, those who have used orality as a means of reception.
