The Eridani Incident

The Solar Commonwealth is expanding with colonies in Proxima Centauri and bases in Sirius and Procyon. And it's looking for allies among the many races of the galaxy. The Tyndal seem like the best choice, but do they have their own agenda?
Admiral Ngene and the battleship Midway is about to find out. During a friendly exercises between the Terran and Tyndal fleets, a distress call comes from a star system beyond human space. A star system both sides have been told to avoid. Now Ngene must lead a combined force on a rescue mission to that system, and the very real possibility that an unknown enemy is waiting there.
