Julianna and Tristan have been best friends since they were five years old. They played together and studied together and knew all of each other secrets and the fact that he was the future king of Astoria and she was a security guard's daughter had never been issue.

That is, until the year Tristan turned twenty and his parents decided that it was time he started taking his princely duties more seriously, starting with finding a future queen.
