Destined to become the next King of the Drakens, Prince Fane wants what he can't have: Sakala, his bitter rival since they were draklings. But this year, something has changed that could end their childhood debate once and for all-Sakala has decided to enter the courtship arena.
During the annual hunts where males and females battle to test their compatibility for mateship, Fane sees his chance to finally prove to his kingdom who the stronger and faster draken is.
