Willie carries the crushing burden of causing his father's death on a freak bicycle accident on Thrill Hill. An acerbic Old Man moves in next door and seems to delight in tormenting Willie for no apparent reason. Willie's world spins out of control when he learns his mother will die if she doesn't have an expensive operation, one they can't afford. And Santa seems to have forgotten where Willie lives.
Christmas day fast approaches. Willie is about to learn that redemption often arrives in the strangest manner.
