The obstacle course of Ebola, the "invisible enemy

Officially located in Africa as defined by Ivorian comedians, for me Ebola represents fear ... suffering ... pity ... despair ... tears ... loneliness ... abandonment ... the end of kindness and the suppression of African hospitality. Ebola is well and truly a reality, as I experienced it for the entire time it was raging in my country, Guinea and Liberia. As close as I could get to the real thing, at the bedside of the sick, with the families and communities affected, I was able to see at first hand the reality and the damage that this accursed and nasty virus caused to my family and neighbours.
