Anand Sagar, deppressed of the death of his wife is sitting in his drawing room. There is a knock at the door and Anand is arrested for the his conspiracy to kill the Cheif Minister. He is shocked at the allegation and tries to defend himself. The police inspector of the area tries to make him confess his crime. Anand fights his case on his own in the court.
