MAIA has lived her entire life in the comparative security of Compound West. Deep in her forested sanctuary, far from the prying eyes of the Civil Enforcement Corps' reconnaissance drones, her days have mostly been spent in quiet communion with nature, exploring the sleepy, verdant forest pathways of the valley she calls home.
