The Silent Ruination

A realm divided falls in silence
Civil war rages across the Dukedom of the Vahsland, but for Petra Ebner it is little more than a nuisance which has occasionally interfered with her apprenticeship to the Jäger, Heinrich Taube over the last two years. Born after the conquest, the scars left by the Palidrian Empire aren't hers to bear, or at least they shouldn't be. Yet when an old friend of her master comes with a request to join him at peace negotiations, what choice does she have but to follow along on a hunt that could prove more dangerous than any other.
For Faust, heir to the neighboring Dukedom of the Dornwald, there is no such choice to be made. Entrusted by his father to mediate the peace talks in his stead, the young Prinz is now faced with the insurmountable task of setting right a feud seventeen years in the making before the flames of war can rekindle and spread to the rest of the occupied Gaersche realm.
