The Tears of Joy

Thee modern world as we know it has been brought to its
knees, by a small group of women refugees, using extraordinarily
advanced artificial intelligence and nano-enhanced weapons.
Millions are dead due to civil unrest, and a mass migration of
people from large cities to smaller towns has shifted the center of
power in every country in the world.
At what seemed to be the end of their short, sharp, and
devastating terror campaign, the terrorists gave the world hope-in the form of new generationally advanced renewable energy
systems.
But at a price.
The new world is not unlike that of a refugee camp-food and
water are scarce, neighbor fights neighbor, and the weak are preyed
on by the strong.
Then the terrorists introduce a new element into the mix-one
with the threat of total annihilation.
With no oil, petrol, or coal, no internet, and just a precious
few working computers, can this new threat be beaten down?
