The Thoughts of Youth

Adolescents' images of the ideal person reflect their personal values about gender roles, their expectations and their cultural values. This text reports a study in which over 6000 adolescents from around the world described an ideal woman or man. It presents their perspectives and documents the universal attitudes of adolescents.
