Tag feels guilty about the way his Mum died ten years ago. He tries to make amends by being helpful to those around him, especially his Dad, but nothing eases the pain.
When he temporarily loses his vision, he gains a new magical ability and is forever changed. Unfortunately, he cannot deny the existence of the shadow-like creatures. The problem is, when they realise he can see them, they will stop at nothing to kill him.
With the help of his new friends he is forced to trust his instincts in order to survive. But none of them see the bigger threat coming…
