When the wind blew as it was now, strange things happened in Canaan, New Hampshire. The whole town seemed to believe in the old wives' tale connected to the fury of wind blowing outside. Mike and Andrea's worries began when they couldn't get their young daughter's fever under control. She needed a special prescription, but the local pharmacy had run out.

Authorities shut the roads down because of a winter storm and strong gusts, making it nearly impossible to get a refill. Like most parents, they feared the worst, and the town gossip about the wind wasn't helping. What lengths would Mike go to in order to get the medicine his daughter so desperately needed?
