These Ordinary Moments of Grief is the story of an ordinary person losing her precious mother to ovarian cancer. Author D.C. Zhang found herself lost and unsure how to sift through the grief.
Empowered by the realization that we will all experience loss, Zhang began to share with the world her musings on grief, first online and now in her debut book, with a series of essays. This is not an instruction book about how to handle grief; but is a book that illustrates how the author dealt with her personal grief. Through her experiences of loss, Zhang hopes that Ordinary Moments can serve as an attempt to bridge the gap between the grievers and the not-yet grievers.
