Jerry Haskins was a successful insurance agent with a wife, a split level home, and two cars. Then he went and got himself killed in an auto accident.
By all rights that should have been the end of him, but the little Hindu Mystic, Jahawarlal Mukkergee, couldn't bear to see Janet Haskins cry, so he sent Jerry'e spirit back in time.
Somewhere along the way Jerry switched time-tracks and wound up in the world of Vikings and dwarfs. Of Giants and Trolls. Off Goblins and Elves.
