Sir Henry Holland (1788-1873), a distinguished court physician, published this account of the lesser-known Greek islands and parts of Macedonia and Albania in 1815. He describes the landscapes and cultures of these regions in detail and gives a unique first-hand account of the Albanian vizier Ali Pasha.
