Day after day, night after night. Jessie dreams of this whole other world. She can't seem to let it go. She can't seem to forget. This world feels much too real to her.

Jessie must face those memories she tried to outrun in order to block out the Shadows and rescue her best friend Mikey Jay, the boy next door.

Mikey Jay was captured by the Shadows of the In-Between, and taken to a place where dreams turn to nightmares and fairytales cease to exist. This is where Mikey Jay waits for Jessie to rescue him. In this world, he cannot escape because his own fears have made it impossible to do so.
