What Really Happened

Richard Powell, Robbie Kennedy and Vicky Young are best friends. In October 1970 Robbie and Vicky take a trip from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles. When they return two weeks later they are not speaking to one other, and Vicky suddenly disappears.
As Richard probes into the mysterious events of the trip he discovers how Robbie has burst through his suffocating emotional pain, how Vicky has confronted her life-threatening crisis and, most importantly, he uncovers the true purpose of his own life.
