Wholehearted Half-Truths? Here's one:"I just couldn't make these characters work the way I wanted them to. Right now I keep all my rough drafts inside this bottom drawer. Once in a while I hear some noise down there. They're frustrated, half-finished, want some kind of resolution, but I'm tired. They will have to wait a few more centuries."
