ANSWER OVER 200 WRITING PROMPTS
Writing Conversational Korean: Book Three is designed to help the intermediate or advanced Korean learner practice their conversational writing skills by answering writing prompts over five themed chapters: family, feelings, desires, relationships, and friends. Answer over two hundred writing prompts, including: "¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿?" (How did your parents meet?) "¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿?" (Do you fear going to the dentist?), and "¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿?" (What is your dream wedding?).
It is the third book in a series of four, each covering different topics (see below).
EXPAND YOUR VOCABULARY
Each page of writing prompts includes useful related vocabulary to inspire you as you write your answers. There are over five hundred vocabulary words featured in Writing Conversational Korean: Book Three, including slang, short phrases, and natural expressions.
READ WHAT NATIVE KOREAN SPEAKERS WROTE
Each chapter ends with a section showing natural Korean writing samples submitted by native Korean speakers. Read what they wrote in response to questions like: "¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿, ¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿, ¿¿¿ ¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿?" (Do you think children are a blessing, a burden, or both?), "¿¿¿ 10¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿?" (If you won a million dollars, what would you do?), and "¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿." (Describe a superpower you wish you had). Challenge your reading comprehension through these native writing samples, and check your understanding with translations in the back of the book.

Experience the writing prompts in context while learning about Korean culture. On certain writing prompts, follow QR codes to listen to related YouTube videos. Reinforce vocabulary and grammar that you've learned while encountering new vocabulary and grammar to help you write your own answers. Discover authentic content and practice your listening skills in a fun way!
PRACTICE FOR REAL CONVERSATIONS
Use the writing prompts to prepare for conversations with native speakers. Practice with conversation topics you can actually use, like: "¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿?" (Have you ever been stood up for a date?), "¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿ ¿¿¿ ¿¿¿?" (Do you have any enemies?), and "¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿?" (Are you scared of spiders?). After writing your own answer in a safe space - learning the relevant vocabulary and grammar you need to express your thoughts - use these writing prompts in real life and boost your conversation skills.
