the detail collector is a creative practice in the form of a blog where franciszka voeltz posts 1-10 details from the day nearly every day. in celebration of Vegetarian Alcoholic Press's fifth anniversary (which lands on August 8th), this chapbook is a collection of all the detail collector's August 8ths.
the detail collector is also a person named franciszka voeltz who writes poems to go on a portable typewriter for magnificent strangers and facilitates community writing events and workshops and serves as a faculty member at Thoreau College in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
