Ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc), a species of the Zingiberaceae family, is an annual herbaceous plant. It is one of the most important spices in the world. Its importance is food but it is also a crop that generates income for producers. In order to document the endogenous knowledge on the speculation as well as an agromorphological characterization, a survey among producers, sellers of medicinal plants and spices as well as users and tradithérapeute was conducted.Regarding the agromorphological characterization of the species, the data analysis is based on post-harvest data. A total of 09 variables were taken into account, 4 of which were quantitative. The results allowed us to make descriptive statistics and to establish the variation within the quantitative variables. The combination of qualitative and quantitative values resulted in the ascending hierarchical classification of the 29 accessions under study. The dendrogram resulted in 3 groups with different characteristics.

El jengibre (Zingiber officinale Rosc), una especie de la familia de las Zingiberaceae, es una planta herbácea anual. Es una de las especias más importantes del mundo. Es importante como cultivo alimentario, pero también como cultivo que genera ingresos para los productores. Para documentar el conocimiento endógeno sobre el cultivo, así como una caracterización agromorfológica, se realizó una encuesta entre productores, vendedores de plantas medicinales y especias, así como usuarios y tradithérapeutes.Para la caracterización agromorfológica de la especie, el análisis de los datos se basa en los datos posteriores a la cosecha. En total, se tuvieron en cuenta 09 variables, 4 de ellas cuantitativas. Los resultados permitieron realizar estadísticas descriptivas y establecer la variación dentro de las variables cuantitativas. La combinación de valores cualitativos y cuantitativos dio lugar a la clasificación jerárquica ascendente de las 29 accesiones objeto de estudio. El dendrograma dio como resultado 3 grupos con características diferentes.

Es ist nicht nur als Nahrungsmittel von Bedeutung, sondern auch als Kulturpflanze, die den Erzeugern ein Einkommen verschafft. Um das endogene Wissen über die Pflanze zu dokumentieren und eine agromorphologische Charakterisierung vorzunehmen, wurde eine Umfrage unter Produzenten, Verkäuferinnen von Heilpflanzen und Gewürzen sowie unter Nutzern und Traditherapeuten durchgeführt.Bei der agromorphologischen Charakterisierung der Art basiert die Datenanalyse auf Daten aus Ernteposten.
