Für die Durchführung von Change-Prozessen in Unternehmen bedarf es eines hohen Maßes an Professionalität. Die Lösung der Probleme wird ein Transformationsprozess sein, welcher kosten- und termingerecht erledigt werden muss. Gleichzeitig muss eine Sicherstellung der Qualität erfolgen. Esta pesquisa visa perceber até que nível, este fundo que funcionou de forma activa no período de aproximadamente 10 anos contribuiu para a melhoria do nível de vida da sociedade em estudo.

A presente pesquisa tem como objectivo avaliar a gestão de Resíduos Hospitalares (RH) na Cidade da Matola caso particular Hospital Provincial da Matola (HPM). O método empregado para atingir os objectivos, foi abordagem quantitativa, qualitativa discretiva e exploratória, para tal foi realizado de forma específica a determinação das quantidades dos tipos de resíduos gerados, avaliação das práticas de gestão de acordo com a legislação vigente a nível nacional. A sua realização permitiu concluir que o HPM gera diversas categorias de resíduos nomeadamente: os resíduos comuns, infecciosos, perfuro-cortantes, químicos, radioactivos e por último os biológicos.
