Comprehensive Appraisal of Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, India

Lake ecosystem not solely gives with variety of environmental edges; however, it impacts our quality of life and strengthen our economy. Effective management of the lakes and its adjacent area will prevent the floods and droughts by storing massive amounts of water and cathartic it throughout shortages. The aim of these studies is to realize an improved understanding of Lake water associated to develop a comprehensive knowledge set to produce an improved scientific basis for water management and give tools for analysis of the alternate water resource management. Seasonal variations in Physico-chemical parameters of Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, India and relationship between biotic & abiotic components were investigated.
