»The Representative of Public Interest in German Administrative Jurisdiction«: The Representative of Public Interest is an institution which can be part of specific proceedings in administrative jurisdiction in Germany. First of all, the thesis treats the tasks and procedural rights of this institution. Furthermore, it illuminates the meaning of the term »public interest« as well as the Representative's organisation and work in practice. As a conclusion, it discusses the question, if the existence of the Representative of Public Interest is obsolete, reasonable or even necessary.
