Digital Storytelling as a Cultural Mediator

With the revolution in Information and communications technology (also, ICTs), one of the most profound methods of ancient times has re-appeared in the modern expression, known to be as ¿Digital Storytelling¿. Digital storytelling consists of stories integrated with ICTs. Now, since the experience economy has risen, the main focus in tourism has been to create such new experiences. This is the need in the heritage attractions. In order to understand the role of digital storytelling in enhancing the tourist experiences at the Indian heritage visitor attractions, this book integrates three main theoretical streams: Digital Storytelling including ICTs, Heritage Visitor Attractions and Tourist Experiences.
