This Book is a collection of poems based on many contemporary themes, drawn from areas of the Author's life with which she is familiar; aviation, law, science, politics, her childhood and her married life. The current trends in philosophical ideas of interest to many people, are encapsulated in the core theme, of this book; the Odyssey, of a modern Odysseus or Homer; and is adapted from the Classic works of the "Iliad". The poems are written especially for those unknown Heroes, who have strived, struggled and triumphed in turbulent times. The defence of utilitarian ideas, in a world facing political crisis is highlighted. The poems also depict key highpoints in world politics, over the last decade, from the rise of terrorism, sparked by the the crash of the twin towers; in New York to the commencement and end of the Iraq War.
