Über Effects magnetized water and levels of pyroligneous acid on watermelon

To evaluate the effects of Magnetized Water and varying levels of Pyroligneous Acid in the Growth and Yield Performance of Watermelon (Citrullus lunatus L.) var. Sweet 16, a study was conducted at the Cambayang, Cabugao, Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro. Treatments used were application of magnetized water and non-magnetized water with different levels of pyroligneous acid from transplanting of seedlings up to fruiting stage of watermelon plants. The data gathered were length of the roots, length of the vines, chlorophyll content of the leaf, ratio of staminate flower and pistillate flowers, number of fruit sets, diameter of the fruits, weight of the fruits, total soluble solid (TSS) and yield per plot. Result showed that plants treated with Magnetized Water had shortest roots compared to plants drench with non-magnetized water with mean difference of 55.56cm. However, in terms of length of the vines magnetized water treated plants got the longest vines compared to non-magnetized water with mean difference of 23.48cm.
