Employment of Coworking Spaces in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises

SMEs form the backbone of Austriäs economy. In 2016, almost 99,7% of all businesses in Austriäs market-oriented economy were small and medium sized enterprises. Transforming work environments, tough competition and changing values among laborers towards reasonable and sustainable employment mean Coworking Spaces are becoming a viable alternative to traditional workplaces for organisations. From a SME¿s perspective, several limitations in regard to SME¿s structural circumstances may influence the decision of joining a Coworking Space. Coworking Spaces can present solutions to current business issues, however, this approach includes restrictions that might hinder SMEs to become a member of a Space.
