Farming systems in Kandi area of Jammu region: an economic analysis

The rainfed areas are vital for Food security of the country. The 'Kandi' area is largely rainfed. The book identifies the cropping pattern and the farming systems prevalent in the Kandi area of Jammu region. Economics of the different enterprises in different farming systems have been calculated. The bottlenecks that the farmers face have been enlisted and the different initiatives of different agencies regarding the development of farming systems have been documented.
