Foreign language teachers' activities: from novelty to innovation

Innvation approach in education is gaining popularity nowadays. The aim of the publication is to report the genesis of the term «innovation»; to find out the peculiarities and interrelations on the terms «novelty», «innovation», «new development»; to present a detailed description of the key components of tearchers¿ readiness to apply innovation technologies on foreign language lessons; to single out and characterize the signs and levels of teachers¿ readiness to perform the mentioned activity.
