The evolution of each aspect in technology is rich in historical events, case studies, experience from elderly researchers and technicians. In itself, technology never meant goodness for the community. The need for such notions of ¿goodness¿, ¿doing things right¿, ¿being fair¿, ¿avoid suffering of people, animals and environment¿ must continue into the modern world with emerging technologies, despite the increase of technological powers and sophistication in people¿s hands, across so many countries and in all facets of life. There is therefore an academic and philosophical need for assessing and well-delimiting the facets of ethics into the re-fashioned societal set-up and technological dependencies. The focus of this manuscript will be geared towards analysing three components of Business Principles: Service Before Profit, Practice Fair Business and Avoid Monopoly. The technology focussed here is ICT technologies and its related sub-fields including emerging technologies. This research remains inherently a vision and opinion work. Such opinions may differ from other researchers, but formulating varied opinions will ultimately enrich the field of Ethics in the technology era.

A number of factors have always frustrated efforts to promote urban development in Uganda. This has been mainly due to law levels of education, poor sanitation, drainage and solid waste management and lack of public will, mobilization and sensitization yet, many agencies NGOs have tried to supplement government efforts in promoting urban development. The researcher used a questionnaire guide to carry out a survey about the role of NGOs in urban development and specifically Plan International in Kawempe III Division. Sixty respondents who comprised of Plan International members, local leaders and households were purposelyselected.It was observed that under development has persisted in urban areas-due to lack of capacity to develop towns, law levels of education, poor transport means and lack of community mobilization, participation and willingness among the urban population to work. Of recent, the AIDS scourge has had serious impact in almost all parts of the country.

Inter-governmental relations (IGR) are critical for the effective and efficient service delivery by governments, as an important component of any political system with more than one level of government. The general objective of the study was to examine the role of IGR on service delivery in multi-level systems of governance in counties in Kenya. The specific objectives were: to establish the role of administrative relations, fiscal relations, political relations and economic relations on service delivery in counties in Kenya; and to establish the moderating effect of public participation on the relationship between intergovernmental relations and service delivery. The study was limited to the 47 county governments in Kenya. Results revealed that all the inter-governmental relations had a positive and significant relationship with service delivery of county governments in Kenya, with public participation having a positive and significant moderating effect. It was concluded that IGR had the potential of positively influencing service delivery and thus recommended that national and county governments should adopt a multi-dimensional approach in implementing IGR for service delivery.

Gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate) is a mineral that is mined all over the world. A variety of crystalline forms of gypsum, including selenite and alabaster, can be found in nature because the mineral is an evaporite, which means it precipitates (settles) out of water as the water evaporates. Today, gypsum and gypsum products are employed in a wide range of industries, including building construction, soil improvement, food additives, agricultural use, medicines, medical technology, and dentistry. Despite the popular usage of gypsum materials in dental applications, these materials suffer from some shortcomings such as low compressive strength, inadequate surface hardness, poor abrasion resistance, and dimension instability. Therefore, this book aims to shed some light on the current status of research on different types of dental gypsum materials. The work reviews the currently utilized systems for modifying dental gypsums and discusses the characteristics of resultant gypsum materials. Geochemical Exploration for gold often times fail to produce favorable results because pathfinders for the gold were not properly identified. In others, pathfinders could not be linked to the horst-geology, and so high potential deposits have remained unexploited. The target in this study is to test the effectiveness of geostatistical tools (multivariate statistics) in identifying index and pathfinder elements during exploration for a mineral deposit, especially when a bulk geochemical data is involved. Logarithmic transformation was implored for data stationarity and normality. Hierarchical Cluster Analysis (HCA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) were used for the pathfinders. Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) and Kriging were used in delineation of gold anomalous zones.

Periodontal disease is heterogeneous in etiology, but a common hallmark is destruction of alveolar bone. Periodontal therapy is focused at disease prevention and arresting disease progression and regenerating lost periodontium. Open Flap Debridement (OFD) is the most conventional procedure used and has been shown to result in efficacious treatment modality of intrabony defects. Modern advancement has led to development of Titanium-prepared, platelet-rich fibrin (T-PRF) which is more effective in activating platelets and establishing a firmer fibrin carpet.This study was initiated to compare and evaluate the effectiveness of titanium-prepared platelet rich fibrin (T-PRF) in combination with open flap debridement and open flap debridement alone assessed by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) in treatment of intrabony defects.

The scope of the book is to identify the necessary requirements for the development and implementation of a mobile B2B application for Company X. This study (bid) report covers the three necessary requirements for the development and implementation of a mobile B2B application, namely functional, structural and resources requirements. Functional requirements were identified through, marketing analysis, stakeholder analysis, software benchmarking, and security requirement analysis. Structural requirements were identified through, software environmental analysis, personnel analysis, Porter¿s five forces analysis, and risk identification and analysis. Resources requirements were identified through project time planning and life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA). The study is scheduled for six (6) months with all tasks and activities presented in a Gantt chart shown in figure 1. The final section of the report, discusses the contribution of the methods and approaches adopted for the study.
