This study focuses on development cooperation. A text taken from the same author's graduate thesis defended in December 2022 at the Institut Supérieur de Développement Rural de Bukavu " ISDR BUKAVU ". The case illustrated is that of USAID, one of DR Congo's partners, which has invested a significant amount in the progress of young people in the city of Bukavu through the ADIJ project. A consortium of four international organizations, including FHI360, took the lead in implementing the project. The work provides an understanding of the actions carried out by FHI360 in this project, focusing on its contribution to the progress of brokers at grassroots level. Under the theory of organizational performance, the study illustrates the performance aspects of Génération Epanouie, a youth organization involved as the project's implementing broker. A positive and negative critique of the project's achievements in meeting the current needs of young people in the city of Bukavu is offered, and a strategy for the performance of local organizations in the study area is proposed.

To analyse the phenomenon observed in fashion retail chains, which often use conceptual style references presented by luxury brands at fashion weeks to develop commercial collections, we adopted the perspective of appropriation, assuming that there would be an inherent process of adaptation, thus generating a new product. Collaborating with the hypothesis presented are the concepts of material culture with a focus on the importance of consumption and materiality in understanding the dimensions of social life; the relations of strategy and tactics that exist in the idealisation of fashion and adaptation for the appropriation of fashionable behaviour; the Western conception of fashion in order to understand the model structured in the mid-19th century that constituted the model in force; and the conception of identity in post-modernity, in an analysis of how the transformations promoted at the end of the 20th century shook up the perspective of a unified identity, giving rise to the notion of identity multiplicity.

What lies beyond the horizon of science? Human curiosity ventures to explore everything. Eventually, it encounters a warning: "You have reached the limits of current scientific knowledge". We can agree that the hedge around what science has discovered and agreed upon is a wonderful patch. And very fertile. But it is not all. For before our eyes lies a vast uncharted sea of questions to be answered. So how can we venture into uncertainty? Universities respond with scientific training. The products of scientific thought speak for themselves. However, a different and older way of thinking is still present even among scientists in training and professionals: magical thinking, characterised by explaining phenomena external and internal to the person by appealing to supernatural mechanisms and agents. Is this coexistence of thinking in science students and professionals inadequate, as several authors point out, and what effects can it have when it comes to the study of the human mind? The book is the product of research that explored and discussed the above with university psychology professors.

Fatal accidents in the mining sector in Peru will always be the statistical indexes that are intended to decrease for the coming years, since 1998, the national entities responsible in charge of this sector have been encouraging the different companies and companies committed to this economic activity to be certified with the current standards in the field of Occupational Health and Safety Management in order to reduce fatal accidents, ensuring that the main national productive activity is at the height of international quality standards. This research work is a contribution for all professionals involved in the Safety and Occupational Health Areas of their company or company in the mining sector, in which the problematic reality of a large mining company located in the highlands of Peru is analyzed and, based on it, the Occupational Safety and Health Management System was designed. This phenomenon is a global paradigm that seeks to protect the most valuable resource of any economic activity: the human being.

The first chapter deals with the importance of NGOs in Ecuador, their generalities, i.e. social development organizations and the challenges they face. It also presents the national and international NGOs in Ecuador, their historical background, geographical coverage, project development by sector and financial information. The second chapter refers to the Organizational Institutional Analysis of the Children International Foundation of Ecuador. It analyzes its environment, technological and economic environment and those involved in the organization. It then discusses its activity, capacity and performance of the organization. The third chapter contains the concepts of the Small and Medium Enterprise, i.e. its diagnosis of the MSME, in terms of employment, target market, human resources, available technology, competitive situation and business management. The fourth chapter presents The Program begins with a diagnosis of the Development Agencies in the Metropolitan District of Quito, meetings with several non-governmental organizations and its pedagogical proposal and methodology.

Rich in raw resources, particularly hydrocarbons, the Gulf of Guinea is a fertile breeding ground for the industrial powers of the USA and China. The scarcity of oil resources, combined with the prevailing insecurity in the Persian Gulf, has prompted the major oil companies of these two countries to take an interest in this African oil Eldorado, thus placing the Gulf of Guinea at the heart of global geopolitics. How, through the conquests and geopolitical strategies of its two powers, has this region become a strategic zone in international oil geopolitics? Through a documentary analysis, this research proposes a deciphering of the configuration around Africa's oil stakes. It also highlights the renewed interest of the United States and China in the African continent, showing that these two rival powers are increasingly using refined strategies to seduce the hydrocarbon-rich oil states in the Gulf of Guinea in order to secure control and exploitation of the oil.

Strategic planning, transferred to the urban domain at the end of the 80s, has profoundly marked the evolution of spatial and territorial planning, both in the French system, marked by decentralisation at the beginning of the 80s, and in the Italian regional system implemented since the end of the 40s. In France, the SRU law of 2000 introduces the concept of the urban project and new planning instruments, completely remodelling the articulations between the planning scales of agglomerations and communes, introducing more flexibility. In Italy, where the regions have legislative independence in urban planning matters, regional law 36/1997 dissociates the strategic part within the plans from the more programmatic and operational part at the three levels of planning (regional, provincial and communal) and creates new relationships between them. The aim of this research is to verify the role of strategic planning and its relationship with traditional spatial planning, based on comparisons of the exemplary cases of Marseille and Genoa.

"Prevalence of anal cytological alterations in patients with abnormal cervical cytology" is the original title of the doctoral research presented at the Postgraduate Programme of the Centre for Disease Control, State Department of Health in São Paulo, SP, Brazil by the author. The research aimed to show the prevalence of anal contamination by HPV in patients with cervical contamination and the importance and feasibility of anal cancer screening being included in the cervical cancer screening programme.

University institutions must play a new role as promoters of competencies that future graduates will have to manage in their academic, personal and professional development throughout their lives (Cabero, Vázquez-Cano and López-Meneses, 2018). This implies assuming the challenge of the competency training of university teachers as a key factor to innovate in these technological environments (Aguaded & López Meneses, 2009). The present didactic work deals with competency-based university education and describes various 2.0. resources for the digital competency training of educators and other e-utilities to help and dynamize training in access skills, search and selective management of scientific information and to favor the creation of educational content in connective and ubiquitous digital learning environments.

Arbutus unedo L, commonly known as Arbutus, is a species known for its ecological and economic importance throughout its range, particularly in Algeria. It is of great interest in maintaining biodiversity, which is why its preservation is so important today. However, its wealth of active ingredients and natural substances, which confer therapeutic virtues on it, deserves to be studied and valorized, by characterizing its phytochemical compounds, and identifying their chemical profiles and antioxidant activities. Such a study would highlight the plant's ethnobotanical and industrial interest, and we therefore propose its domestication and cultivation as an industrial crop. In this context, the present work makes a contribution to the development of the species Arbutus unedo L, an Ericaceae from western Algeria.

The target audience for this project is rural dwellers, as they are the main people affected by the absence of this resource. The aim of this work is to obtain totally renewable energy for general domestic use in appliances that consume little electricity, light and heat water in homes. As a proposed innovation, the aim is to adapt a heat exchanger tank to the wood-burning cooker itself. Filled with water, the tank heats it to a certain temperature, generating energy in the form of steam, which serves as fuel for a Stirling engine attached to the cooker. The mechanical energy produced by the engine is converted by a converter motor into electrical energy. It also structures a water heating system for the house by installing a coil and boiler system.

This research aims to obtain a didactic strategy for the learning of rational numbers mediated by GeoGebra in sixth grade students at the educational institution "Diez de Mayo" in Cali, Colombia, because it is found in students who begin their journey through secondary school an unfavorable attitude to learn what is related to the area of mathematics, especially the part corresponding to the numerical field indicated, because the traditional methods do not involve them as protagonists of their learning. The product obtained is used the following school year and to achieve it, activities are carried out that allow its application, among them the use of a pertinent Didactic Strategy. In order to measure the impact that this orientation has on the attitude and on the improvement of the students' significant learning, a mixed type of study is proposed that integrates diverse elements -descriptive and correlational-; from which actions are developed to collect data about the factors that affect the attitude when studying Mathematics, highlighting, in addition, the incidence of the GeoGebra application to compensate for the indicated problem.

The study was carried out in the city of Encarnación, specifically in higher education institutions (universities). The aim was to "analyse the processes of educational inclusion of people with hearing, physical and visual disabilities in higher education". It is essential that any educational model, and in this case the university model, bases its quality on the contents developed and the learning activities proposed. Education is a basic right, the basis of any society in order to consolidate democracy. The right of persons with disabilities to education is enshrined in national laws and, in the same way, it is important to promote a culture of respect for diversity and recognition of students as subjects where the whole community interacts under these premises, only in this way will it be possible to demonstrate changes in the attitude of the members of the community with the commitment and responsibility to achieve the inclusion of the disabled population in the university.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), called Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) by the World Health Organization, was detected as a novel betacoronavirus infection in Wuhan, China on December 12, 2019 before spreading globally. More and more publications are finding cardiovascular lesions that were not present on admission.The question posed is: "Once recovered from COVID-19, what happens to patients cardiovascularly and what impact does the virus have on the cardiovascular system?".

The aim of this book is to give an account of the importance that the institute of trial by jury has had in recent times in Argentina. The different systems or models currently in force will be presented, giving a general idea of the institute in our country. There have been a great many economic theories, and today they are part of an epistemological mode of selection: they build on each other, and the least explanatory are abandoned. The idea that economic theories are often opposed to each other is more in the normative field than in the positive field of economic theories. In fact, the normative aspect of economic theories leads to proposals, and it is these proposals that are the subject of debate (and give rise to frequent opposition). To master economic theory, it is necessary to have an overview of the major currents that have run through the history of ideas in the discipline and to be able to describe them very briefly in relation to each other. We must, of course, be aware that this constitutes an a posteriori reconstruction, with its limitations, such as the tendency to obscure both the dissensions between economists of the same 'camp' and the convergences between those of different schools. This book examines the following schools of thought: economic thought in antiquity and the Middle Ages, the physiocrats, the classics, socialism, the neoclassicals, Marxism, and so on.

The Ministry of the Interior released the official crime figures for the year 2022 in Italy where 383 homicides were committed, 25.2% more than in 2021, in this year 2023 a wave of homicides ignites the alarms in Rome. This research seeks to know through statistics the behavior and the trend of homicides in Italy. The homicides where the victims were men, women and homicides committed by family members were analyzed by means of a characterization of the subjects, an ANOVA, shapiro Wilk and Pearson correlation test to analyze the similarities, differences and trends of the homicides. We found the estimated confidence limits for the future and found that the number of total homicides will be between 422 and 528 by the end of 2023 and between 423 and 527 by the end of 2024.

The objective of this research work was to determine the influence of the flipped classroom methodology on the learning of trigonometric ratios of coterminal and quadrantal angles in the area of mathematics in pre-university students at the Los Andes Private Educational Institution, Huancayo, Peru. The approach developed was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. There were two observation groups, one control and one experimental. Both groups were made up of students in the fifth year of secondary school, the last year of regular basic education in Peru. A non-probabilistic convenience sampling was carried out where a section of the fifth year constituted the control group and another section made up the experimental group. A pretest was administered to both groups to measure knowledge learning and procedural learning before the experimentation. The control group developed the topic of coterminal and quadrantal angles through the traditional method: the master lesson, while the experimental group developed the same content using the flipped classroom.

Among entomophagous predators, ladybugs are currently one of the best-known families in biological control. They constitute a group of insects which plays a very important role in regulating aphid populations. The present study focuses on a few biological aspects of the aphidiphagous ladybug Coccinella algerica. The biological development cycle of this ladybug takes 29 days at an average temperature of 23.6°C and an average relative humidity of 50%. Larval development passes through four stages (L1, L2, L3, L4). Fourth-stage larvae and pupae show the highest natural mortality rate. Predation continues unabated, and the gap between rich and poor widens daily. A few billionaires in US dollars, a small island, vie for the top of the world rankings, while the ocean of destitute floods our world. The initial principle of my fortune, your ruin continues. Africa is paying a heavy price, with shipwrecks in the Mediterranean confirming the slogan of the free movement of people. In the face of these obvious signs that pre-globalization is equivalent to post-globalization, the latter is confirmed as a great disillusion. Customs barriers, residence visas and selective industrial relocation accentuate this disillusionment.

In the times of the early Church, when persecutions against Christians were rampant, there was an ideal model of the martyr: the Christian who was capable of upholding and defending the faith, even at the cost of his own life. There were many martyrs who fulfilled this ideal. However, there were also Christians who did not have this fortitude and, under pressure and persecution, fell into apostasy: these were called lapsi (fallen). The treatment of this problem gave rise to different positions that even led to schisms. Although at first glance the subject may seem far removed from the present time, the topicality of these positions requires careful study of the historical case.
