Cogeneration is an alternative, highly energy-efficient system that enables a significant reduction in the energy costs of consumers, without altering their energy demand. Cogeneration is defined as the simultaneous production of two or more types of energy. Usually the energy generated is electricity and heat, but it can also be mechanical energy and heat (and/or cooling). In a cogeneration system, heat is either in the form of high-pressure steam or hot water. For example, hot steam from an electricity production turbine can be used to supply energy for other uses. In addition, cogeneration provides benefits to the industrial sector as well as to the country as a whole. This is because the industrial sector sees reflected a saving of primary energy; oil, natural gas, coal and biomass, by having a more efficient system of energy resources. At the country level, the benefits lie in the reduction of polluting emissions into the environment due to the fact that less fuel is burned.

Popular economy in the city? The possibility of another form of economy, an alternative to the capitalist one, can be found in the Unidades Familiares that live, resisting day by day, on the slopes of the José Carlos Mariátegui human settlement in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima, Peru. In this small book, the authors present the situation of two family units, "U6A" and "Nueva generación". How were they born, how are they organised, how do they relate to social institutions outside their environment, what are their dreams for the future? These were the questions that formed the basis of the research, which ended up trying to expose the way in which an alternative economy, a popular economy, materialises in these areas. It is curious that the work was carried out in the human settlement named after one of the first Peruvian intellectuals who, thinking from his context, proposed alternatives to capitalism. The monograph presents the results of scientific and research work, providing for a balanced regulation of the rights and obligations of various environmental protection systems regarding the conservation of natural resources aimed at protecting nature as an environment-forming component of the natural environment, health conservation, as well as to ensure their multilateral use of medical ecology in rural and forest areas. The subject of the study was a set of theoretical, methodological, methodological and practical aspects of the development and sustainable management of the implementation of the concept of sustainable management of natural resources, forest sector in the organization and application of health-saving technologies.The practical significance of the research results consists in the fact that methodological tools, techniques and methods of accounting for the volume of environmental, agro-industrial forestry, their economic evaluation and performance indicators provide an opportunity for the formation of sustainable management of innovation systems of the cluster of medico-ecological systems, investment programs of health-saving technologies, create a basis for the regulation of effective environmental management.

It is with great pleasure that I share my doctoral thesis, the subject of which is still very little explored in academic circles, despite the importance of the debate in order to achieve, after an electoral dispute, an essentially democratic result, where the voter can express their intention at the ballot box free from any act of electoral corruption, no longer being a "puppet" in the hands of politicians, and, consequently, not vote for a certain person just because they received some kind of eminently personal benefit. The punishment of illegal vote-taking aims, above all, to ensure a conscious democracy, thereby respecting the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.

The idea of a single, all-powerful God, creator of all things, faces many challenges in being accommodated in the human mind, whether because of the spiritual nature of this God, or because of experiences and beliefs about other spiritual beings with certain powers, and above all because of traditions linked to cults of different spirits (gods). Experience with the world of spirits and with the God of the Bible is a reading key capable of clarifying doubts about the spiritual mysteries in which humanity finds itself. In human societies of all times there have always been men and women with experiences of the spirit world: prophets, seers, healers, sorcerers... The question that this book answers has to do with the exercise of spiritual power. We know from experience that many times when people can't find answers to their challenges in themselves or in nature, they turn to supernatural or spiritual power. Life testimonies are presented here about this spiritual power in its various guises.

The poor infrastructure of cities, caused by constant population growth and the lack of maintenance of public roads, brings with it a series of factors that are detrimental to the movement of the population, especially those who need adapted means of transport. In this context, accessibility and the laws that govern it seek to act as a facilitating agent so that there are elements of social equity in society. This manuscript describes the development of a system that enables users to publicise information about a particular location in the city, whether it be a pavement, an establishment or a road. The project uses a variety of technologies that address mapping concepts.

The construction sector has been consuming natural resources and energy at an unbridled rate. As a result, the sector is concerned with minimising this consumption by coming up with new concepts and technical solutions aimed at the sustainability of its activities. One of these solutions is the use of soil-cement bricks in civil construction, which are sustainable and use soil, cement and water, as well as reducing the consumption of mortar in their application and other advantageous features. Rio Grande do Norte has only five soil-cement brick factories, despite the simplicity of the manufacturing process.

The aim of this degree project is to apply a thermal insulator composed of abaca fibres to a macadamia nut drying oven heated by LPG from the Negoinco company in the city of La Concordia. After some research and applications of drying nuts, in different companies and workshops that are dedicated to the design and manufacture of drying ovens for cocoa, coffee and nuts of different species, it was decided to build a prototype oven, for tuning purposes practices were carried out with 3.64 kg with 40%, 80% and 100% capacity on the walls. The regulation of the gas output is done with the knob of the burner to open or close the LPG flow, for this process not much gas output is needed because the oven only has to reach a maximum temperature of 77°C. The best time was achieved with 100% insulation capacity in the oven using 3.68kg of abaca with a consumption of 0.06 kg of LPG in 38 minutes.

Sex Education in early childhood is an essential factor in the life of the human being, as its main function is to provide them with information so that they learn to know their body and their emotions, identify their qualities, live together with respect, identify risk situations, ask for help if they need it, identify characteristics that make them unique, sexuality is an important element that encompasses mind, body, emotions, beliefs, values and feelings; since sex education begins to be built from the moment we are born through verbal and non-verbal messages.

Brief analysis of an approach to procedural cooperation in Sonora; Mexico, and particularly our state of Sonora, is just beginning to learn about and apply international treaties from the local level in strict compliance with the control of conventionality that all judges and authorities are obliged to adhere to as part of their positive law. This modest work is the collaboration of many people, but any errors are the exclusive privilege of the author.

The purpose of this research is to serve as a test exercise for the strengthening, development and compilation of all the work carried out in the various programmes in order to encourage entrepreneurship within the university. The purpose of the research was to carry out an analysis of the perceptions of entrepreneurship from the university management, the concept from each programme and the needs of the Lasallian entrepreneur, as well as their opinions about the entrepreneurship seedbed and the activities that it will carry out. It was also based on establishing a space for co-creation designed by students for students based on the little accompaniment and advice given to the Lasallian entrepreneur with the aim of consolidating or strengthening their business idea.

The dissemination of science and culture is a complex task, involving far-reaching conceptual and linguistic dimensions. This research project presents the results of a study indicating the growth, development, benefits and importance of institutional digital repositories, as well as the challenges involved in their implementation. A study was carried out on international standards of editorial quality, open access, interoperability conditions through the internet and the guidelines published by CONACYT in 2015, which is part of the new strategy of the Federal Government in response to the demands of having a means of consultation of the resources generated in Research Centres, Universities and Public Institutions financed with public resources. As well as the current situation of repositories in countries such as Spain, Costa Rica, the United States and Mexico.

In this book, the kinematic and dynamic modelling of a four-degree-of-freedom robotic arm is carried out. These models are essential both in the mechanical design phase and in the controller design phase for a robotic manipulator. In order to achieve the objectives of this work, a bibliographic review of the evolution of industrial robotics and of the existing modelling techniques was carried out. Among the procedures used, the Denavit and Hartenberg methodology, the use of homogeneous transformation matrices and the Euler-Lagrange method stand out.The result of this thesis includes the design and implementation of an experimental validation platform that incorporates a prototype loading and unloading robotic arm. The platform allows the manipulator to be remotely controlled by means of a high-level program installed on a computer and facilitates the verification of kinematic models and the execution of experiments.

Plato and Aristotle initiated the debate on the passions and their imperfect nature in social man, but which will have an impact on contemporary scientific positions on the emotions. The ideas proposed by Plato always point to the need to set the passions against the intellect. A wise man is in control of his behaviour and his reason and intellect impose themselves to provide him with the capacity that will allow him to access knowledge of reality. With Aristotle, a more formal body of theory is achieved that allows the subsequent debate between emotions, passions, affections and feelings and their inevitable impact on human behaviour. These studies come to play an important role in communicational processes, by showing the interference of emotions in oratory and deliberative speeches, affirming that judgements and evaluations of reality are always made from the emotion involved in the rhetoric of an interpersonal relationship.

Art as a human manifestation is an instrument at the service of communication that is expressed through artists in the different artistic genres we know. This communication has not always been directly proposed by the artists, but has often been imposed by third parties who in a certain way have served as a kind of patron for those who make art, and who generally had the economic power to buy their work and therefore the economic power to influence multitudes. But there have also been other forms of expression that were not imposed and that were born directly from a real need to communicate a free and sincere thought, that is to say, one that is proper to those who look at life being part of it and not being bought to say something.

Research work in Child Psychology and Psychorehabilitation, specifically on parental educational styles and their relationship with alcohol consumption in adolescents. The aim of this research is to identify whether parental educational styles are related to alcohol consumption in adolescents aged 14 to 18, based on Bronfenbrenner's ecological model, which proposes an ecological perspective on the development of human behaviour, with the environment as a set of serial and structured structures at different levels interrelated with each other. This is a non-experimental correlational research, developed in a population of one hundred and ninety-three adolescents between 14 and 18 years of age from the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit, using inductive-deductive and statistical methods with the aim of identifying parental educational styles and the existing relationship with alcohol consumption.

Streams were contaminated with hazardous waste from sewage effluents that overflowed due to deficient treatment by the company in charge of the service. Thus, after an arduous investigation, those responsible were identified and charged with the crime of intentional environmental pollution and disobedience to authority, to the detriment of the public health of the inhabitants of the towns that used these watercourses. All of which demonstrates that these crimes must be punished for the protection of the environment and future generations.

Mining geological heritage is a valuable resource for developing mining communities. This is the importance of the present work, which focuses its analysis on the involvement of community communication processes with this historical and cultural heritage, which must be protected and preserved for present and future generations. As such, the need to look after this heritage is undeniable at the present time. Promoting its identification, protection, conservation and interpretation is an alternative to development and an economic solution to a possible mine closure. In the case of the mining town of Moa, in the far east of Cuba, a large part of the geological mining heritage of the Caribbean island is concentrated, which is extensive due to its industrial history, based on chrome and nickel mining. This is why this study analyses the relevance of a "Mining geological heritage communication strategy (ECPGYM)", as a social technology that demonstrates the availability of a communication system in the mining community of Moa, as a necessity for the development of responsible mining.

This book, entitled "Environmental Education as a Pedagogical Strategy for the Solution of Environmental Problems in Colombia", is a fundamental contribution to society as a whole, which aims to educate and create awareness in all human beings about their environment, being responsible for its use and maintenance. Environmental education should be given to an infinite number of sectors and using a wide variety of didactic resources. It should be based on a change in the knowledge and behaviour of the members of society in their relationship with the environment, which should generate a new awareness that provokes a daily action of environmental protection that leads to changes in attitude and aptitude, in order to achieve a balance between man and his environment. Environmental education requires the support of all sciences and disciplines to solve environmental problems and the active participation of a wide range of people and institutions.

Due to the huge increase in electricity consumption in recent times, various technologies have emerged to increase the efficiency of the electricity supplied. The main objective of energy efficiency goes far beyond a reduction in financial consumption, but also to reduce the overload on electricity generating plants. Increasing energy efficiency can be done in a variety of ways. This study looked at different light bulb technologies in order to prove that LED bulbs are more efficient and more economical than other bulbs on the market. After analysing the data, it was proven that there are economic and lighting advantages to using LED luminaires. As a result of the study carried out in a classroom, its advantages allow it to be carried out on a large scale, and the financial return will be guaranteed.

The interpretation of the law allows to recognize the elements that make up the legal reality both for the judge when applying it, as well as for individuals when guiding their conduct. This activity is limited by guidelines or criteria to be followed, which determine the standards to be considered valid. The recent reform of the civil and commercial legislation introduced changes in the regulation of interpretation, modifying the criteria that allow determining the law to be applied. This paper attempts to inquire into the theoretical foundations that justify such modification, in order to analyze and evaluate its practical consequences. To this end, we will try to show the direct relationship between the concept of law, the different philosophical conceptions of law and the guidelines to interpret it.

The training of audiovisual communicators requires the development of skills and knowledge in the handling of the different techniques of audiovisual communication, which allow an adequate performance in the different media of this type in the country and the world. Today's television journalists must be highly trained professionals, not only in the journalistic function itself, but also with knowledge of the theoretical and practical content of audiovisual production techniques demanded by the new ways of working in the digital environment. University training for students of audiovisual communication is essential for the future performance of their profession; good training serves as a link between the student's hopes, skills and the labour market.

This project proposes the development of a strategic marketing plan to increase sales in the company Muebles El Bosque S.A. in the north of the city of Guayaquil, which allows the company to implement a marketing plan in order to improve the positioning and sales of the company. As well as to increase the loyalty of current and potential customers of the organization. The methodological design chosen was a descriptive bibliographic research, supported by the inductive-deductive method, based on the formulation of the problem: How does a strategic marketing plan affect the increase of sales in the company Muebles El Bosque S.A. The data collection was done by interviewing a specialist who in this case is the Project Manager of the company Muebles El Bosque S.A., an observation guide applied to analyze 46 clients of the company and in the same way, the application of a qualitative and quantitative survey to 345 clients of the company. As a result of the research, it was verified that the company is aware that it is essential to implement a marketing plan.

In recent years, chronic non-communicable diseases have become the leading cause of death worldwide. They cause degeneration and sequelae in the body of the individual who suffers from them and among them with a high incidence rate is Chronic Kidney Disease (hereinafter CKD), which affects 10% of the world's population. The Pan American Health Organization (hereinafter PAHO) and the World Health Organization (hereinafter WHO) refer to the fact that there are more than 500 million patients with CKD in the world.

Agriculture in Cameroon is the country's main source of growth and foreign exchange. It is the main occupation for over 60% of the working population, despite the fact that only around 15% of land is arable. This low percentage is due to poor land management policies and the almost universal isolation of arable land. Indeed, very few roads link the countryside to the big cities, which has a very negative impact on the country's economic situation. Yet Cameroon has the potential to become one of the world's great breadbaskets. The richness and vastness of its land (475,000 km²), the diversity of its population and cultures (traditional customs and farms), its openness to the sea, its enviable geographical position at the center of the African continent, make this country an exception among many others. Its young, dynamic, educated, enterprising, hard-working, ambitious and determined population is a great advantage for its growth.

If architecture is defined by interior spaces, a certain selection is called for, a response is called for, a dialogue with the place. Here the objective is not so much to be interested in furniture, but to show that architecture by its internal definition qualifies the spatiality of everyday life. It is sought through examples to show that the relationship of the house to its spaces, actions, communications; not only the objective space, but the one of sensations and emotions linked to the moment, to the light, to the surprise...

The work was carried out at the Department of Foreign Journalism and Literature of the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Boris Leonidovich Zalessky. It studies the specifics of the British mass media coverage of European integration on the example of "The guardian" and "The daily telegraph" newspapers. The author determines how the materials of these newspapers influence the integration of Great Britain and the European Union, and offers practical recommendations for applying the positive experience of the British media in the Belarusian media.

Today the university is facing an educational revolution that requires transformations and viable solutions in theory, practice and methodology. The aim of the work presented here is the elaboration of a training programme aimed at teachers who work at the university campuses, in order to achieve attention to the diversity of learning styles in conditions of universalisation. The methods and techniques used in the research were observation, interview, survey, documentary analysis and analysis and synthesis. As main results, it is possible to point out the insufficiencies evidenced on the part of the teachers in the attention to the diversity of learning styles, as well as the little mastery they have of this subject, from which a training programme was elaborated where topics such as: learning transcends the limits of the school, strategies for a developmental learning and the work with the learning styles in the university headquarters of Health Technology are approached.

The following text is based on empirical research carried out during 2017 in a portion of the Cachapoal Valley, in search of traditional seeds that have resisted the great loss brought about by technification and the introduction of hybrid varieties. The role of farmers has been fundamental in maintaining our Agro-Food Heritage, becoming Guardians of a heritage that is maintained in the fields, through painstaking and silent work, being part of our Intangible Cultural Heritage. This project has the potential, like seeds, to multiply and start a new cycle through the interpretation and action of the reader. Just as the seed lies dormant waiting to be cultivated by a peasant or farmer, the words of this book seek to deliver a message of appreciation and protection of our Natural and Intangible Heritage, through the presentation of the results of the research.

The working conditions of the informal sector harm people in terms of safety and health at work, in the present work which was a case study of a vulnerable population (bicycle taxi drivers) with a descriptive method with respect to the complexity of the problem where several perspectives of observation and description of different variables that may arise from the unfavorable working conditions of the bicycle taxi drivers of suba were analyzed, where a methodological process was carried out to diagnose the informal working conditions of ASOPROBISUBA's bicycle taxi drivers, with the application of tools that served to analyze the worker's perception and that of us as occupational health and safety administrators, by relating these two visions it was determined that the risk factors were linked to prolonged forced postures, traffic accidents and thermal stress.
