The Sixth Lily is a gift in my life and in the life of anyone who wants to read it. As a teacher in the countryside, I have very concrete experiences of overcoming the challenges of mediating the teaching-learning process in these spaces. At the same time, educating and learning in the countryside is a universe of possibilities. There is so much beauty in every sense. The Sixth Lily is an account of experiences that will move you. Because of the simplicity, truth and sweetness of these peasant boys and girls who, like me, don't lose their essence in the world of school, bringing their roots with them at all times, insisting that they be watered and reach deeper. My hope is that you'll read it with your feet on the ground, but you'll be able to fly high, whether you're a teacher or not, because it's a book that teaches lessons for life.

Aging is a natural, physiological and multifactorial process that brings with it the gradual deterioration of physical condition and consequently a decrease in health. In this sense, the present research aims to develop a kung fu program adapted for these older adults that favors their quality of life; for which a study with a mixed research approach, descriptive scope and non-experimental cross-sectional design is assumed. This program is based on the diagnosis made through interviews with 30 older adults and families belonging to this community where the main problems and limitations on which the proposal is based are detected and which was subjected to a theoretical evaluation through the criteria of experts which was calculated from the analysis of the level of relative agreement and the coefficient of the level of consensus for each expert, as a result it was obtained that the global fuzzy number that integrated the opinion of the experts was, CG=(0.781,0.993,0.997) which represents the linguistic label of "very adequate".

It deals with Information Dissemination Technologies on the Web, studying access to the CAPES Journal Portal, the SIBI-UFAL Electronic Books Database, Google Books and Social Networks. It presents a Theoretical Framework based on a broad review of the literature on the conceptual aspects of Information Dissemination, Digital Libraries, Electronic Journals, E-Books and Social Networks. In the empirical part of the research, a questionnaire was distributed with the aim of investigating whether the students graduating in the second term of 2011 from the Librarianship course at the Institute of Human Sciences, Communication and Arts at the Federal University of Alagoas actually know about, access and use the Electronic Journals and E-Books and Social Networks available on the Internet. It presents the analysis and discussion of the results obtained in the research and concludes with some considerations on the importance of using Information Dissemination Technologies for the training of students, teachers and also professionals in the field of Library and Information Science.

The subject's learning needs to be given meaning and significance. So learning with meaning means transferring everything learnt within the four walls of the classroom to problem-solving and decision-making. Thus, educating with meaning and significance is a great challenge to be overcome by all those who love the art of educating. Teaching is not about transferring knowledge, but creating the possibilities for its own production or construction. - "Paulo Freire".

Conventional agriculture is responsible for causing environmental damage as a result of the intensive use of pesticides and intensive agricultural mechanization. Conventional production tends to deplete natural resources, with biological, physical and chemical degradation of the soil. On the other hand, conservation agriculture is the main and most important alternative for preserving natural resources, creating conservation production systems, described in the literature as agroecosystems. In this system, all chemical inputs are drastically reduced or not used at all. Sustainable production thus makes it possible to continue producing food that meets demand, while preserving the natural resources available. The term soil quality or soil health has become more relevant in recent years. The concept of soil quality is one of the components of a conservation production system and is presented as an alternative to conventional management.

In these pages I want to be able to transmit all the possibilities that exist of insertion in the different markets. How through different tools we have the possibility to venture into other fields, and to make known that the universe of International Trade is exciting and entertaining.Many believe that it is only the commercial aspect that is at stake, but this is not the case. International Trade opens up a wide range of possibilities where we can bring our creativity, our capacity and our knowledge to the table.

The text shows the didactic foundations of the use of ICT in the teaching-learning process for Knowledge Management; theoretical positions are assumed that allow us to grasp the essential elements of connectivism as a pedagogical approach for the use of ICT in the teaching-learning process. Conceptions of learning are analysed and a proposal based on connectivism and activity theory is presented. A model of the influence of connectivism for the use of ICT in the teaching-learning process and the use of Knowledge Management as a method is proposed, in which new relationships are established between the elements that make up connectivism and the categories of the developmental teaching-learning process, the new features that characterise the model are described and Entrepreneurial Learning is defined as a quality resulting from the relationships of the components of the model.

The deepwater pink shrimp Parapenaeus longirostris (Lucas 1846), is one of the species of Decapod Crustacea targeted by coastal and offshore demersal fisheries in the western Mediterranean in general, and on the Algerian west coast in particular. This book provides an initial overview of the diet of the pink shrimp Parapenaeus longirostris in western Algeria. It accounts for a significant proportion of landings at many Algerian fishing ports. The aim is to fill in the gaps in the ecobiology of this species in general, and its diet in particular.

Sexual abusers have different facets and are difficult to identify, so they go unnoticed, until for some circumstance they commit abuses or crimes against minors and are evidenced, while others remain clandestine and are found in any social environment, corresponding to individuals who may be public figures, from politicians, financiers, athletes, singers, etc., that when they are unmasked long after committing the crimes, their reaction is to deny any action that compromises them and jeopardizes their job stability and social position.There is no way of knowing whether or not a person is a sexual abuser based on social behavior, since they act disguised in the family and social environment; however, statistics indicate that most abusers are heterosexual males, who present themselves as caring and humanitarian towards their fellow human beings, while the relationship they establish with sexually abused minors is based on threats, intimidation and control.

It is in cities that the majority of spaces and infrastructures are concentrated to meet people's preferences for physical activity and sport. In Europe, 15% of citizens who practise physical activity and sport do so in a gym or fitness centre (European Commission, 2014). For proper business development, gyms and fitness centres need to have up-to-date information on brand awareness levels.

Educational Communication and Emotional Well-being of the Elderly in the municipality of Amancio is the result of the study related to one of the challenges for today's society: the ageing of the population, which are not considered knowledge and experiences of the age group. Exchanges with topics of interest for their motivation, self-esteem and general mood are insufficient. Dialogue is poor and mostly neglected by family and trade unions, which affects their personal growth.

How can the world live happily today? We answer that it's through rationality. We are increasingly prone to irascibility, malevolence and animality, to the point where new generations are beginning to define MAN by his opposite. In this book, I revive classic moral thinking, which has been, is and will continue to be an essential guide. I remind MAN of what he is: a reasonable being whose actions are conscious, free, responsible and in harmony with God, nature and culture. Moral action is human action. In short, I'm asking MAN to correctly carry out his natural function, which is to exercise the rational part of his soul. Reason, conscience, freedom and responsibility are fundamental elements of the human being.

The objective of the study was to evaluate the identification and quantification of synthetic colorants present in carbonated beverages marketed in the city of Trujillo. Nine carbonated beverages and three instant soft drinks were analyzed, using as standards the commercially available colorants Tartrazine (E102), Ocaso Yellow FCF (E110), Allura Red AC (E129) and Brilliant Blue FCF (E133). The Arata-Possetto method was used to purify the colorants, to extract the colorants from the beverages and to determine whether the colorant is synthetic in nature. Infrared spectroscopy analysis of the standard dyes was performed to identify the azo group. The identification was carried out using thin layer chromatography and visible spectrophotometry. For the thin layer chromatography, silica gel 60 aluminum chromatofolios were used and the solvents ethanol, isopropanol, cyclohexane and isopropanol/cyclohexane combinations were used as mobile phase; the best results were obtained at a combination of isopropanol/cyclohexane of 80 %.

The Law on Land and Agrarian Development (2010), prescribes a set of technical-economic guidelines that are beyond the pure knowledge of the judge, the practicing lawyer and anyone who does not have practical knowledge in the management of agricultural land, to enter into areas of Agronomic Engineering, Animal Production, Forestry, Animal Husbandry and / or Veterinary, Hence the need to include these professionals in the judicial system, with arbitration being the mechanism that would allow their inclusion under current legislation, which will guarantee a better defence of the rights and interests of all Venezuelans who have opted for rural work as their main occupation. In this sense, this research is carried out with the objective of evaluating the possibility of applying the arbitration provided for in the Code of Civil Procedure in the Venezuelan Ordinary Agrarian Jurisdiction.

This book focuses on certain linguistic and cultural aspects of paremy in the Gidar context. Structured in seven chapters, the book raises cultural issues that are of prime importance in international exchanges today: the translation of the proverb, the content of the teaching of national languages and cultures, the definition, safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage, the reception of paremiological discourse, elements of phraseology, and so on. The last frontier of violence against women / The last frontier of violence against women. This book deals with the crime of femicide as typified by Law No. 13.104, of 9 March 2015, which amended Article 121 of Decree-Law No. 2.848, of 7 December 1940 - the Penal Code, to provide for femicide as a qualifying circumstance for the crime of homicide. To this end, the first chapter analyses the historical aspects of violence against women and their constant subordination to the male figure through patriarchy. The second chapter will conceptualise the term feminicide, with its various definitions and concepts in the countries where the term is used and the different types of feminicide. The third chapter will look at the standardisation of the crime of femicide, starting from the legal point of view in the various countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The fourth and final chapter deals with the definition of the crime and the factual aspects that led to the definition of this extreme form of aggression in Brazil. It will examine everything from the Senate Bill No. 292/2013 to the law passed on 9 March 2015.

The aim of this book was to analyse the solidarity economy and social organisations as mediators in the process of acquiring resources, as well as the contributions that public policies to promote this segment can make to the local development of small municipalities. The assumptions of this study are that associative practice has influenced local development processes in rural municipalities and specifically in Portalegre - RN, through the mediation of government programmes and projects aimed at combating rural poverty. The research is analytical in nature, as it analyses the information selected through bibliographical and documentary research, and qualitative in nature, as it uses semi-structured interviews with the presidents/members of the associations, as well as other actors considered indispensable for understanding the study (religious leaders, local political power), in addition to field observations and documentary research in the records of the organisations themselves.

Brazil's public schools lack administrative and financial autonomy. In our education system, few schools have their own budgets and management autonomy. The few that do have autonomy, as a rule, have better results in most assessment systems. In this context, we have the Federal Technical Schools, the Pedro II College in Rio de Janeiro and the Military Colleges. It is in this context that we propose granting financial autonomy to all school units in our country.

Since the dawn of independent life there has been bad legislation with regard to various legal issues. Because they naively believed that the rule would regulate for good the misconduct, loopholes and emerging issues in a society reluctant to admit its reality. Thus, deprived of morality and God, they left it up to the legal body to deal with the consequences caused by it without taking into account the roots of these consequences being rooted in their own irresponsibility.

The existence of studies that affirm obesity as an epidemic, as well as the fact that excess weight in childhood and adolescence tends to persist into adulthood, leading to an increased likelihood of developing diseases. Added to this, the fact that there is no known research on adolescents in Sergipe to verify the association between living conditions, health risk behaviours and overweight/obesity, which takes into account representative samples for the whole state, based on the characteristics of its geographical territories, serves to justify this study, especially given the possibility of finding different results from other states and regions.

Soya (Glycine max) is one of the most important crops in world agriculture, both in terms of area cultivated and in terms of productivity and profitability. In Brazil, it is one of the modernising axes of the national countryside and accounts for 50% of the country's total cultivated area. More specifically, in Campos Gerais, the climate and the cultivation system used provide favourable conditions for the development of some of the crop's main diseases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the use of fungicides as a tactical and strategic tool for controlling diseases such as powdery mildew and Asian rust.

Analysis of the decentralization process in Benin reveals a contrasting observation. Initially, decentralization brought about the emergence of a democratic local authority, supposed to break the dual situation that had prevailed since the colonial era.
