Pedophilia is a psychosexual disorder in which an adult has a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children. It is important to note that pedophilia itself does not involve the sexual act or abuse of a child, but represents a serious concern because of the potential risk of harm to minors. It cannot be considered a sexual orientation, as a child or adolescent lacks the physical, emotional and psychological maturity necessary for mutual agreement. Pedophilic attraction is considered abnormal and is widely condemned by society because of the physical, emotional and psychological harm it can cause to the children involved. Child sexual abuse has devastating consequences for victims and can leave long-term effects on their health and well-being. It is critical to understand that pedophilia is considered a disorder and not a legitimate sexual orientation. Society has a responsibility to protect children and ensure their safety. Legislation in most countries strictly prohibits any form of child sexual abuse and establishes measures to punish those who commit these crimes.

This book seeks to address the emotional impact and emerging emotions when the diagnosis of cancer disease arises. Based on Lazarus's concept of emotion, aiming to determine the emotions triggered by the diagnosis, a descriptive study of a qualitative nature was developed. The results of the study allowed us to conclude that, in the face of the diagnosis of oncological disease, the emotions of fear and anger emerge. To cope with the disease situation, the study participants presented the following coping strategies: emotional/cognitive self-control, confrontational, distancing, seeking emotional/informative social support, avoidance/avoidance and positive reappraisal. It is emphasised that, although emerging emotions are considered in the literature as negative, they have a very important adaptive potential. Understanding the emotions and coping strategies inherent to a cancer diagnosis seems to favour skills that enhance the effectiveness of a therapeutic relationship that promotes the patient's emotional well-being and facilitates their adaptation process.

The purpose of the TCC is to stimulate the curiosity and questioning spirit of the academic, fundamental for the development of science. The TCC (Course Conclusion Work) is a compulsory academic work and a final assessment instrument of a higher education course. It is prepared in the form of a dissertation, aiming at the initiation and involvement of the undergraduate student in the field of scientific research.

Implantation results from a biochemical interaction between the embryo and the endometrium. This interaction, whose mechanisms are still partially unknown, if successful, will result in the penetration of the embryo into the endometrium, and the creation of the membranes that will surround the embryo during pregnancy (placenta), offering protection and nutrition during its growth. The aim of this book is to carry out a current bibliographical review of the main therapeutic strategies capable of eliminating or mitigating repeated implantation failures in In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) cycles. The factors analysed were: maternal, embryonic, paternal, genetic and future technological considerations.

Thousands of industrial products made from cellulose and its derivatives are produced worldwide. Cellulose esters are the main areas of technological processes in the production of products (acetate cellulose, diacetate cellulose and triacetate cellulose).In recent years, scientific research has been conducted to modernize chemical plants, expand competitive products and volumes, produce cellulose and its esters from local raw materials, and apply them in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and paper industries. In this regard, it is important to create innovative technologies for the production of highly active cellulose based on natural polymers, including the use of efficient methods, to further improve the quality of acetylcellulose films.

Due to the relevance and great importance that multilingual teaching has gained in recent years in the European educational sphere, there is a need to study and apply new methodological approaches in our classrooms that promote language learning, and therefore, CLIL methodology is considered to be one of the most innovative. For this reason, the aim of this book is to show the importance and necessity of the study of languages integrated with the learning of contents, how to carry it out in our classrooms and what material resources can be used from this new methodology. First of all, it will be approached from the Spanish educational sphere and later on it will also show how this same CLIL methodology is used abroad. Finally, this book explains and clarifies what objectives this approach promotes and what learning strategies are promoted through this methodology.

This book presents a thread of the author's research findings in the field of Astronomy, taking as its starting point his first book, The Theory of the Solar Zenith. The earlier work is summarized here in the first pages, with novelties such as the demonstration of the helical shape of the Sun's apparent motion and the suggestion of a new tropical zone. This work puts into historical and intellectual perspective the virulent debate on sociobiology that shook the scientific world and, more broadly, society as a whole in the 1970s. It summarizes the arguments involved, traces their socio-political as well as scientific roots and implications, and presents a plea for genuine anthropological knowledge capable of overcoming the pitfalls of all reductionism, whether biological or not. The text also raises the question of the persistent influence of a sociobiologizing ideology in current neuroscience and elsewhere.

This book aims to show what was experienced during the academic life of a graduate of a rural school, the obstacles and difficulties encountered on the way to school, and within the school itself, including the surprises of a rural reality. Regarding these difficulties faced, with regard to the arrival of students at the rural school, we highlight school transport and the bad weather of the transfer and in relation to the teaching and learning process we point out teacher training, or rather, the lack of it. The research was developed in a qualitative way, with a bibliographic nature, where we report the researcher's own experiences, strongly aggregated to a tremendous indignation based on the lack of government attention to these schools. Also highlighting the need for more qualified teachers who know how to mediate teaching in a way that directly corresponds to the dream of students who will possibly enter a university. So when writing my story I was able to remember that nothing was easy, everything in life is difficult to achieve. Our life is made of dreams, because; what would be the fun if an agent did not have a goal to achieve?

The book is an empirical study of children's acquisition of written language. At the crossroads of disciplines, this process of conceptualizing the external world is crucial to a child's developing personality. Using tools that are at once psychological, linguistic and constructivist, the booklet modestly clarifies certain specificities of the child's language in the state of genesis, and demonstrates the importance of certain morpho-syntactic deviances, such as erasure and phonetic writing.

There have been many books and publications since the end of the military dictatorship in Brazil, and they help us to better understand this nebulous period that our country lived through. This book will help you understand how books from the time were, and are, important to understand the results and impacts of military tyranny on the lives of Brazilians. The author establishes as an investigative path the relations between History, literature, aesthetics and historical reception, having as object the process of suspicion and accusation of the character Altino da Cruz, which constitutes his form, in the literary work Veias e Vinhos (1981) written by Miguel Jorge. This narrative has as its backdrop an event that occurred in 1957 in the city of Goiânia. This makes it possible to reflect on a re-elaboration of the city of Goiânia in the 1950s, from the imaginary of the last decades of the regime. Therefore, through the discussions between history, literature, aesthetics and tragedy, this work makes it possible to understand the historical process that constituted the work (Veias e vinhos) within the present of writing, which conditioned Jorge's gaze to the past. We thank God and our families for this opportunity. People with disabilities have always been relegated to the background, often suffering all kinds of prejudice. With this work we intend to show that the disabled person is a subject of rights. This paradigm shift in Brazilian society on this subject reflects an advance in our society. We dedicate this book once again to God, our families and all people with disabilities.

This paper analyses email marketing as a legitimate form of commercial email, which, if abused, can become spam. The discussion begins with the contextualisation of privacy in the digital environment, to understand the importance of the protection of personal data and the consent of its holder for its use. Then, email marketing and the abusive practice of spam are addressed. Opt-in and opt-out consent systems are also presented, which, if complied with, legitimise the sending of an electronic commercial communication such as e-mail marketing. The United States, the European Union and Brazil have adopted regulations that implement these systems, the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM), Directive 2002/58/EC and the Code of Self-Regulation for the Practice of E-mail Marketing (CAPEM), respectively, which are discussed throughout this paper. In the end, it is proposed the responsive regulation of the practice of email marketing in Brazil by the National Data Protection Authority, in order to improve and make effective the regulation of this practice and, thus, guarantee the privacy of citizens.

Management is the act of carrying out actions that lead to the realisation of proposed objectives and goals. School management encompasses the tasks that organisational units have, such as preparing and implementing pedagogical proposals, managing personnel and material resources. Evaluation is a fundamental reflection exercise for all people. And it applies to all facets of our lives: from professional to social and personal. Knowing how to evaluate oneself is an enriching but very difficult skill. Teaching refers to a profession in which teachers are continually discovering, incorporating and applying new and more effective skills and knowledge about student development and learning. Teaching does not mean just reproducing knowledge, it represents a continuous process of constructing and reconstructing knowledge. For a teacher to teach, it is not enough just to know learning theories, it is necessary to understand learning processes, which will enable him/her to establish a way to teach.

Obesity is currently experiencing an epidemic explosion, affecting both developed and developing countries, where it constitutes a serious public health problem. The general objective of our study is to assess the extent of overweight among the students of the 15th promotion of Senghor University of Alexandria, as well as the underlying factors associated with it. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among all students at Senghor University in Alexandria. Anthropometric measurements were used to assess nutritional status. Overweight affected more than a third of all students, with a higher prevalence among male students. With regard to risk factors, our results revealed that the time spent on sedentary activities was greater than that devoted to high-intensity physical activities. Students' diets were heavily based on animal products, high in sugar and fat, and low in fruit and vegetables.

The construction of a culture of peace from the home is fundamental as it is considered a primary space for the socialisation of people. For this reason, it is important that the whole family is involved in its knowledge, so that it is considered as part of the upbringing model used by adults with children. In this sense, the transmission of values, as well as training for the development of personal skills and abilities, will be oriented towards promoting respect for one's own life as well as that of others, with special emphasis on human rights and non-violent practices. This work constitutes a contribution to the training of adults through the development of activities that contribute to the strengthening of skills, abilities, knowledge and values, in order to achieve the establishment of a culture of peace in the home, in the light of human rights, communication, assertiveness for the resolution of conflicts and peaceful coexistence.

Healthcare systems are not the same throughout the world, depending on the history, traditions and politics of each country, as well as its socio-cultural and economic factors, etc. (UNICAF University, 2022). As a result, comparing countries' healthcare systems remains an elusive exercise (Schieber and Pouiller, 1990, as cited in Kananovich, 2021). Moreover, it is very laborious to determine precisely an ideal healthcare system. However, to establish a healthcare system that comes close to the ideal, it should be noted that health depends not only on medical care, but also on the reduction of social and cultural inequalities and harmful behaviors in society (Stasse, 2012). The French healthcare system is more improved than that of the DRC, and the French population is healthier than the Congolese population. An ideal healthcare system for the DRC is one that provides quality care, accessible to the population, even the poorest, with financial and geographical accessibility in a context of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) with the removal of socio-cultural barriers through awareness-raising campaigns that also involve the community. A healthcare system capable of coping with the various epidemics that arise in the country, with a sufficient number of well-trained, well-paid, quality personnel.

This project determines the importance and necessity of the verification methods for SegcomV'sverification in the Twitter and Facebook accounts of SegcomV, pages that belong to the General Secretariat of Communication of the Presidency of Ecuador.The study is developed from a content analysis of the publications made in October 2021 in @SegcomV, in total, 20 Facebook and 24 Twitter publications. Additionally, the process is based on the analysis of experts in the field such as journalists, editors of national and international fact-checking media - certified by the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) - experts in social networks and the version of the General Secretariat of Communication of the Presidency.

This book is based on research carried out with nurses at two hospitals in Gabon. It looks at Covid-19 in emergency and intensive care nurses at Melen Hospital, on the one hand, and emergency nurses at Owendo University Hospital, on the other. The book has two aims: the first is to demonstrate factually that over-motivation at work influences the effects of the arduousness of nurses' work, and the second is to demonstrate from operational channels that motivation at work (intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation and amotivation) predicts risk-taking for Covid-19 contaminations. The aim here is to contribute to the literature on occupational contamination in the hospital environment, and to encourage the authorities to take a greater interest in issues relating to the arduousness of work and the risks of contamination in the hospital environment.

The concern with land use and occupation is of paramount importance for the environmental management of cities, as their disordered growth can generate profound ecological imbalances. In view of this, environmental protection areas (APA) were created to help protect biological diversity and the sustainable use of natural resources in a locality. In Maranhão, the Maracanã APA is a very important area for maintaining the ecological balance of the state, despite this it has been noticed in recent years that there is a significant loss of vegetation cover on the site, a considerable expansion of urbanisation in addition to the change in the natural landscape. To identify this, a study will be carried out with the aid of geoprocessing tools to map land use and occupation in the Maracanã APA, using satellite images, georeferenced Google Earth images for the construction of thematic maps and visual interpretation of images through QuantumGis2.14.0, in the period 2009 and 2015.

In this aspect, the creation and improvement of the quality of effective composite polymer adhesives with high adhesion and cohesion properties, improvement of physicochemical properties, as well as improving the technology of their production today are of particular importance.

The Effects of Chronic Exposure to Opiates and Opioids and the Correlation with Cases of Depression and Suicide offers information through theories and concepts on the subject. In the forest-savannah mosaic zone of the Centre-Cameroon region, studies based on remote sensing data, surveys and botanical records reveal a trend towards transgression of forest onto savannah as a result of anthropogenic management. By planting defensive hedgerows of Ceiba pentandra and Bombax buonopozense at the end of the 19th century, the people of the Yambassa village at the confluence of the Mbam and Sanaga rivers created favorable conditions for the establishment of pioneer species from dense forest to savannah. Once established, thanks to the suspension of bush fires in the savannahs, these species spread out by associating with fruit trees introduced by man to create groves and forest islands. Initially set up as defense systems against enemies, hedgerows have over time become firebreaks and dispersal corridors for forest species. Recently, local people have also taken advantage of the shade provided by the hedgerows to plant agroforests on either side, with cocoa trees and fruit trees such as oil palm, etc.

Soybean is one of the crops prioritized in Cuba through agricultural extension policy, local innovation and knowledge management to increase its cultivable areas and productivity. Currently, the use of agricultural biostimulants represents a promising alternative in crop development. Commercial inoculants offer advantages in nodulation, biological nitrogen fixation and oilseed development, while chitosan and its derivatives exert antimicrobial activity against various phytopathogens, induce a wide variety of defensive responses that lead to increased basal resistance in crops and stimulate their development under both normal and stress conditions. This research demonstrates the compatibility of Azofert-S® inoculant and different concentrations of chitosan on the in vitro viability of Bradyrhizobium elkanii on seeds and its effect on growth, physiology and yield of soybean cv 'INCASOY-27', when both biostimulants are applied to seeds prior to sowing and by foliar spraying of the polymer.

In this way, he constructs a text of profound analysis that invites discussion and debate. Antonio Las Heras has previously published other highly topical books, such as "The Interpretation of Dreams and Other Jungian Studies", "Handbook of Jungian Psychology" and "Sigmund Freud, Psychoanalysis and Parapsychology". Based in the city of Buenos Aires, he constantly travels around the world researching archetypal symbologies as well as giving lectures, courses and conferences on his speciality.

This study aimed to analyse the General Library of UNESP / Bauru - SP, where the physical structure serves only people without visual impairments, in order to make a restructuring to adapt the physical space to the entire faculty and student body, including the visually impaired present. This research was carried out based on questionnaires that were applied to people with some type of visual impairment and / or people who deal daily with these. The themes involved: the greatest difficulties of mobility and localisation, environment and surroundings in the library, so that it was possible to identify the problems and readjust the environment to ensure inclusion. As for the structure, it was necessary to design spaces adapted to the needs of visually impaired users, respecting their sensory abilities and limitations. To this end, spatial planning and communication were important aspects to facilitate the wayfinding process.

This monograph is a collection of scientific papers published by the staff of the International Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies, the Laboratory of Engineering Profile of L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University and the Laboratory of Solid State Physics of Astana Branch of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of DOE RK, devoted to the study of defect formation mechanisms arising from the irradiation of heavy ions in structural materials based on ceramics. Special attention in the monograph is paid to non-destructive methods of evaluation of radiation damage in ceramics, arising as a result of interaction with heavy ions, as well as the kinetics of their changes depending on the irradiation dose and type of irradiation.This monograph was supported by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of grant project AP08051975 "Study of radiation resistance and evaluation of applicability of nitride ceramics as structural materials for nuclear power engineering".
