While Congolese judges are internationalizing their jurisprudence by asserting the direct applicability of the Rome Statute creating the International Criminal Court, the Congolese constituent expressis verbis affirms that the DR. Congo is a legal order with a monist tradition and the primacy¿ of international law. Taking into account the cases analyzed from both a theoretical and practical point of view, the dissertation presents, following compulsory doctrine and jurisprudence, an approach that better lends credence to the dualist thesis, which thus characterizes Congolese judges in their deepest aspirations and this, relatively with regard to the choice judges make of the Rome Statute to the detriment of national temperamental laws.The book begins by analyzing the direct effect of international law in domestic law, the place of international law in the Congolese legal system and the conditions for its application by Congolese courts, as well as the constitutional basis for the direct applicability of international treaties. It is a study, from a qualitative perspective, on the university-society relations in Honduras in the context of the university reform initiated in 2004. Thus, from a critical view in an emancipatory democratic key, we discuss with the main actors of the university community the university we have to think about the university we want in a context of inequality, violence and environmental crisis.

The study in question discusses and reflects on pedagogical practice and the process of including children with Down Syndrome (DS) in mainstream education, seeking to understand this reality that is present in the professional sphere where there are children with DS. The choice of this topic is justified as a way of understanding how the inclusion of students with DS in the regular school system takes place, emphasising that it needs to be ready to serve all its students without distinction, since each individual has their own singularities and specificities. The aim of this study was to contribute to the academic community with regard to the demand for the inclusion of children with DS, observing how these students are included in these spaces, with the aim of collaborating, above all, in the pedagogical practice of teachers who come to assist children with this syndrome; thus generating information pertinent to the understanding of inclusion that leads to knowledge related to the subject, with the aim of ensuring everyone's right to a quality education and real school inclusion.

Sanitation is a fundamental basis for health and human development. The use of latrines interrupts the transmission of feco-oral diseases. Improved health stems from the proper use of latrines, not simply their physical presence. The best way to achieve this is to use hygienic, well-maintained latrines on a regular basis. Methodologies: a cross-sectional study of 240 systematically selected households was conducted during January 2019. The sociodemographic characteristics of household heads were described, latrine coverage and use were described, the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices of latrine use were described, and factors associated with latrine use were determined.Results: Latrine coverage in the MIKOPE rural health zone was 44.2% (95% CI:37.9-50.4) and latrine use in the MIKOPE rural health zone was 42.2%. Latrine use in the household was associated with the occupation of the head of household {(OR 3,188[1,773-5,733] p=0.001)

The brain is a very important organ in the human being, it manages to be part of many functions, to regulate them, to maintain them; it centralises the activity of the nervous system and thus controls all the functions of the body. On the other hand, in this article we have managed to link the brain with music, it will attract attention, but music has a high impact on the human brain from the beginning of its functioning, it manages to get involved in such a way that it modifies the intentions of the brain, after understanding the development of both disciplines we will understand how we can help patients with Alzheimer's disease, improve the quality of life and development of the pathology.

This paper is the product of a technical research study on Constitutional Law and Human Rights, which analyses the content of the provisions established in the Organic Law of the National Public Procurement System, in which there are articles that limit and violate fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution and international treaties on human rights, including legal certainty, effective judicial protection and due process, given that in the process of claims for unilateral termination of contracts and in public contracting processes, the law under analysis provides that these acts of the public administration "are not susceptible to constitutional actions", which means that this specific provision of a norm inferior to the Constitution is totally contrary to a State of Rights and Guarantees, where the rights of man prevail over those of the State.

For a long time, women were seen as ancillary, secondary and inferior "beings" in the Brazilian labour movement and in society as a whole. This research aims to show that in the railway workers' milieu of Rio Grande do Sul they have gained significant space and visibility in the social spectrum. The object of this study is to look into the possible political and religious influences on families in the railway workers' milieu of Rio Grande do Sul, particularly Positivism, Labourism and Catholic Theology, with regard to the social experiences of women, focusing in particular on their daily work and education. In order to carry out the research, it is proposed that the methodology include contributions from oral history, because until recently women's history was ignored by historians and social analysts, partly because their lives, linked to the home or to unorganised or temporary work, very often went undocumented. In short, history continues to be made and women continue to liberate/emancipate themselves.

But when altruism takes flesh in the heart and we become channels of cosmic manifestation, everything shines around us, for we become true Human Beings, capable of transforming Cosmic Energy to make this planet a better world. That is the Great Utopia transforming into Reality.

This book aims to analyse the actors present in the field of rare disease care - the state, the market, the community - assessing the role of each and the relationships between them. It focuses above all on analysing civil society associations. The available approaches within the social sciences have the particularity of generalising the conclusions about rare disease civil associations from a European perspective and looking mainly at the large associations, which work from an advocacy perspective. This work aims to contribute to broadening this view by contrasting the European experience with the reality in Latin America, and specifically in Brazil. By carrying out a detailed observation of the work of rare disease associations and their relations with the state, the market and families, this research draws attention to the prevalence of an intervention centred on the search for medicines, in which market interests dominate.

This work is an investigation into the historical and epistemological intricacies that led Georges Canguilhem to propose his epistemological project in the field of scientific historiography. The aim is not simply to provide historical bases for the exposition, but to indicate, through the detailing of his project, the epistemological status of the concept of scientific ideology. This direction, in a way, indicates the scope of his philosophical reflections in the field of scientific historiography. These are approaches in the ontological sense of their characterisation, in the context of the constitution of the life sciences. Schematically, the aim of this book is to point out that: (i) the concept of scientific ideology is intimately linked to the epistemological problem concerning the permanent way in which scientific knowledge is constituted; (ii) the intertwining of ideology and science should prevent the history of science from being reduced to the insipidity of a picture without a shadow of relevance, and; (iii) the separation of science and ideology should prevent the elements that have apparently been preserved from an ideology from being considered in continuity in the history of science.

The aim of this study was to analyse the complications of biliary lithiasis in non-surgically treated patients. A quantitative, descriptive, prospective, cross-sectional, descriptive approach study was conducted, analysing a total of 119 patients from the Hospital General del Norte de Guayaquil los Ceibos during the period June 1, 2017 to June 1, 2018.The data were analysed in Excel 2010 and SPSS 21 and the results were represented in tables and graphs. Of the total number of patients in the study (119), the predominant age group was middle adults (41-60 years) with 67% (80). The average age was 43.8 years, 68% (81) were female and the main clinical manifestations of biliary lithiasis were biliary colic (100%), fever (69%) and nausea/vomiting (55%). Diabetes mellitus (24%) was the most frequent associated disease. Eighteen percent developed complications, with acute (76%) and chronic (38%) cholecystitis being the most common.

Sacrolumbalgia or lumbago syndrome is characterized by the presence of acute or chronic pain of the lumbosacral spine. It is the most costly disease between 30 and 60 years of age and one of the leading causes of disability in industrialized and non-industrialized countries. The vast majority of episodes of low back pain are benign, non-incapacitating and self-limiting. Many patients with low back pain receive inappropriate or unnecessary treatment, as well as many unnecessary and costly investigations. The postures that we erroneously adopt in our lives favor the appearance of this syndrome, being the prevention of low back pain one of the fundamental pillars of its treatment, in order to diminish its serious socio-economic repercussions. Therefore, we propose with this work to prevent through Health Education the appearance and recurrence of sacrolumbalgia and to make a pleasant, illustrative and easy to understand brochure to develop educational activities in hospitals, clinics, schools, workplaces and communities.

Motivating learning, teaching, is not an easy task for the teacher, even more so in this time, where technology, communication, social networks, seem to invade digital and physical spaces, it is necessary to reflect on the social function of education, specifically, in its methods and didactics, it is no longer enough to relate knowledge, it is necessary to add a new component to the complex task of educating, it is imperative to transcend to levels of conceptual construction, where students, teachers and the community in general, articulate efforts to find answers to the problems of their environment. The research work, Problem Based Learning and Virtual Learning Environments, represents an alternative look at the new ways of building knowledge inside and outside the classroom, which are inclined to the use and appropriation of technology, energized, extrapolated, with didactic strategies that link knowledge, articulate it, in an effort to solve problems, which our students, our citizens, our world constantly face.

The study of behavioural factors associated with nutritional status in adolescence is relevant for analysing the upward trend in overweight among adolescents in Brazil. A total of 759 adolescents from the public and private schools in the Pinheiros district of São Paulo were studied. Data was collected on weight, height, food consumption and physical activity. Overweight was classified according to Body Mass Index (BMI) values. The association between overweight and characteristics of food consumption or physical activity was stratified by gender and school network. The prevalence of overweight was 25.2 per cent (men 27.3 per cent; women 23.8 per cent). Overweight was positively associated with diet and inversely associated with the consumption of unhealthy foods in the school network and the consumption of healthy foods in public schools. There was no association between being overweight and skipping/replacing meals or practising physical activity inside or outside school. High prevalences of overweight were found among the adolescents studied. There is a need for actions to promote healthy behaviours in the social group assessed.

With the aim of maximizing the production of chia, a food crop currently being popularized in the area, the present study assessed the effect of cow manure and furrow spacing (30 cm; 45 cm and 60 cm) on chia growth and yield under Buzi bulenga edapho-climatic conditions.The methodological approach consisted in setting up a three-block, three-column experimental set-up (Greco-Latin square set-up), with three treatments, resulting from the combination of variants of two tested factors (fertilizer and row spacing). The results obtained were such that, during vegetative growth, the height of Chia plants did not depend on row spacing or fertilizer until the 15th day of evolution. The difference was observed from day 30 to the end of vegetative growth. Growth in height was therefore inversely proportional to spacing. The 30 cm spacing produced plants with greater height development than the other spacings, followed respectively by the 45 cm spacing and the 60 cm spacing (ppds =13.36; ¿=0.05).

The Dominican Republic, eastern portion of Hispaniola, Antilles Sea, has water resources and an ecological system that guarantee to meet current and projected water demands for the coming decades, however, it is one of the 10 nations most vulnerable to climate change. To guarantee the current pace of development and sustain the basis of agricultural productivity, tourism, exports, food sovereignty and health, it seeks the full satisfaction of water quality services demanded by a population of 10.4 million Dominicans and a floating population of 7.5 million tourists (2020). Water quality (universal access and sanitation) is a priority issue and a human right in the Constitution of the Republic, the Dominican Environmental Law and the sectoral laws being drafted. To achieve this goal, it has signed the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda 2030 United Nations) and included the "National Water Security in the National Development Strategy, as well as the implementation of national policies of rationality and efficiency.

In this paper we analyze the current knowledge of the genus Hymenochaete (Hymenochaetales, Agaricomycetes), through an analysis of published works in the fields of systematics, ecology and distribution, with emphasis on Mexican species. We consider important to highlight that although Mexico occupies the first place in reported species, there are no morphological works to date, nor articles that integrate morphological, ecological and molecular information, as researchers He and Dai (2012), from China (second place in reported species), Parmasto et al., (2014) and Wagner and Fischer (2002) have done, where they include species from all over the world. In Mexico we have not had the opportunity to know our fungal diversity in integrative works, which will surely result in the sustainable management of our ecosystems. This study should be very useful for professionals in the fields of ecology, botany and conservation biology.

Mexico hides numerous treasures of great architectural and artistic value that have survived time to tell us a story. The men and women who have inhabited it have been able to imagine the future by creating artistic works that transcend and occupy their own space in the universal heritage, thus awakening the admiration of the whole world. The journey presented in these pages runs parallel to the trajectory of those individuals dedicated body and soul to express themselves through art in any of its disciplines. It is for this reason that this research arises to establish a permanent dialogue between the history of Mexico, its social, political and cultural changes, and between the artists themselves and the works; also between Mexican art and the art generated by foreign hands that adopted the country as their own. And above all, to document the creativity, the talent and the Mexican plastic production of yesterday and today.

The aim of this study is to modify or improve the properties of polymeric materials. Polymer blends are very interesting because their properties depend on the base polymers, and can therefore be varied by the composition of the blend. It should be pointed out, however, that making blends can be complex, as few polymers are fully miscible. To this end, three formulations were prepared in comparison with the base polymers. The melt flow index, static rheological properties, density and differential scanning calorimetry of materials (ABS, HDPE and EVA) and composites (HDPE/ABS, HDPE/EVA and their blends) were studied.The results obtained showed that the blend (HDPE/ABS - HDPE/EVA) is partially miscible and can provide excellent mixing properties, due to a particular synergy between the base polymers.

The following work was based on a wide bibliographic review, in addition to exposing the experiences of the authors in the care of patients with these diseases and explains in a simple and organized way how should be the oral health care, which is so affected. It has several chapters that in several chapters illustrate some buccomaxillofacial manifestations, so that the reader has an idea of how these lesions can affect.

The context is more than ever marked by an abundance of regulations, produced by two major regulatory bodies: OHADA, a legal integration community in charge of drawing up common law community regulations, and the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), which is the monetary authority of the West African States, in charge of specific regulations, exclusively applicable to what the law on banking regulations calls in article 2 "credit institutions" "banks" (article 3) and "financial institutions of a banking nature" (article 4).In such a context, the bank lawyer's responsibility is all the greater, and justifies the existence of legal and litigation departments.It is up to the lawyers, in relation with the bank's general management, to give content to this "Legal Affairs Department", with its direct or indirect involvement in all legal matters.The bank lawyer must also be aware of his or her role in the bank; of his or her responsibilities in drawing up and monitoring legal procedures, and of his or her role in the management of the bank.

The understanding of the mechanisms of adipogenesis, the characteristics of lipid metabolism, and the paracrine and endocrine functions of adipose tissue has been improved by new technologies. Adipose tissue is a diverse and complex endocrine organ. Various shades of adipocytes reflect its morphological and functional heterogeneity. Understanding the pathophysiology of obesity and the molecular relationships with type 2 diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, and cancer depends on the study of adipose tissue biology. This book presents information from the existing literature on the origin, characteristics of adipogenesis, and functional properties of adipose tissue as a function of its cellular composition and location.

This work is part of a final year project carried out and defended at the Central University of Paramedical Sciences in Tunisia.It explores the professional and psychological characteristics of the Tunisian nurse in the prison environment.We found that nurses working in the prison environment can face a variety of professional and psychological difficulties due to the particular nature of their working environment.The most marked difficulties were related to the problem of security as well as violence and trauma. These professionals may witness physical or verbal violence between inmates, or even be victims of aggression themselves. These experiences can be costly and psychologically traumatic. Add to this overcrowding and lack of resources, the mental health of inmates, etc. These difficulties had a significant impact on the well-being of nurses working in prisons, and it was essential to put in place support measures, such as stress management training programs and psychological support services.

Kaizen groups have been analyzed from numerous perspectives directly related to the final effect on the productivity of a company or organization. However, from my personal point of view, this paper provides a look merely focused on the management of the impact of this methodology of continuous improvement on the human resources of a company. At the same time, organizational change will be a key concept to understand in order to achieve a broader and more efficient view of the phenomenon and its particularities.

This work is the result of research carried out in nursery school classrooms, with the precious contribution of teachers who carry out a great job, aligning Care and Education in search of the growth of healthy children and future citizens who are aware of their role in the world. The problem that arises with the process of teaching and learning of mathematics in university education referred to the low student performance in this area of knowledge and the usual way in which teachers circumscribe their praxis has induced this research in which we intend to implement the game as a didactic strategy in the process of teaching and learning of mathematics.

The initiatives of the dairy sector in Colombia have strengthened the increase in herd production levels, placing the region of the Sabana de Cundinamarca within the four dairy basins of the country; performance favored by the characteristics of its relief and climate. This situation is the opposite of the situation faced by the activity because it is considered one of the practices that cause the most urgent environmental problems in the world, global warming, land degradation, loss of biodiversity, atmospheric contamination and water pollution. The purpose of this work was to implement the use of Good Sustainable Practices for a small and medium scale dairy cattle ranch that allows addressing the environmental component of the activity, contributing to the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. Based on the diagnosis of the situation and its environmental effects, the strategic axes were defined for the design of a Sustainable Plan for small and medium-scale dairy farming, as a result of a SWOT analysis, which determined the activities or strategies to be implemented to achieve the GSPB in the activity.

GISTs are rare mesenchymal tumors. Positive diagnosis of these tumors is based on histological examination, coupled with immunohistochemistry.
