In the Harbor, by AMERICAN author HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW (1807-1882) contains some of the last poems written by the famous poet before his death.
Longfellow wrote many lyric poems known for their musicality and often presenting stories of mythology and legend. He was among the most popular American poet of his day and had success overseas.
This volume, subtitled Ultima Thule -Part 2, contains such poems as "The Poet's Calendar," "The City and the Sea" and "The Bells of San Blas." There are some translations and personal poems, such as "Memories" and "My Books."
