Methods of gaining space

The ¿extraction versus non-extraction¿ controversy has been widely debated in the orthodontic literature. Several studies have evaluated both the therapeutic effectiveness and the side effects of the appliances for space gaining. Distalization of molars is one of the methods to gain the space for correction of teeth. It can be brought about by Extraoral appliance and Intraoral appliance. So, the aim of this book is to explain the various method of gaining space.
