Über N-Heterocyclics as Bioactive Molecules
Current era needs newer potent molecules to combat bacterial infections since more and more pathogen strains developed antibiotic resistance. This book summarizes the design, synthesis, characterization and pharmacological evaluation of novel Schiff bases derived piperine analogs and substituted heterocyclics. Spectroscopic analysis along with docking studies of most promising compounds of each series were also discussed. This study is an attempt to bring about the promising antimicrobial activity of N-heterocyclic analogs that can also be useful in establishing the structure activity relationships and for the development of newer and more potent antimicrobial compounds. This book will be immensely helpful for students, researchers, medicinal chemists and industry practitioners to have a good source of reference for their work.
