Über Nanodentistry
Growing interest in nanotechnology has improved diagnosing, treatment planning and preventing disease, relieving pain, preserving and improving human health, using nanoscale structured materials, biotechnology and genetic engineering, and eventually complex molecular machine system and nanorobots. There primary objective being to assess potential opportunities for better health care as well as to assess the risk benefit of these new technologies. Research and development in nanomaterials and nanodevices were identified as the development of technology to satisfy the biological and medical applications. The potential benefit of nanotechnology is its ability to exploit the atomic and molecular properties of materials and to develop newer materials with better properties. The regeneration of hard and soft tissues around a solid implant or development of new tissues to replace implanted biodegradable material will provide new vistas in the field of tissue regeneration.
