NATIONAL HEALING AND RECONCILIATION IN ZIMBABWE

The country has been subjected to periods of polarization and stress for too long. Healing is not only necessary, but paramount to rebuild trust and to reconcile the citizenry. Away from political contestation, Zimbabwe is home to all the people who live in it. Now, many of its population lives in the diaspora, yet still call Zimbabwe, their home. They can only come back to a healed nation which accommodates all peace-loving people. The Church has a duty to unite and facilitate healing. The perspective shown in this book is not the official position of the United Methodist Church but reveal the church's perception of peace and healing through its works and church documents.
