Black quarter is one of the dreadful diseases affecting ruminants, mainly cattle and sheep throughout the world. the disease has been controlled by intense annual vaccination of cattle in the endemic region. This booklet discusses about the etiology, bacteriology, animal hosts, risk factors, diagnosis, control, and prevention of neglected tropical animal diseases like leptospirosis and black quarter.
