Über Parenting and Ego depletion
Ego depletion refers to the idea that self- regulation or will is based on the limited sources of mental energy that are reduced when they are used. Hence, when these sources of mental energy are reduced, self-control becomes weak. The word "ego" in "ego depletion" is used in the "psychological" sense rather than the colloquial sense. Self-regulation is the capacity of the self for controlling behaviors, which increases the flexibility and adaptability of human behavior in different social contexts and situations. This book provides parenting model which consist of methods to improve these mental energies. The book contains six chapters with some stories and dialogues to illustrate the issue.
