Places of the Heart

"Places of the Heart" is a collection of poems interspersed with poetic travel stories and recollections. The poems explore a wide range of emotions including the joys and sometimes heartbreak and sadness of love and relationships, longing, loss, loneliness, depression and grief. The travel stories, written in a narrative poetic style, visit exotic and memorable places and, together with the beautiful accompanying photographs, share with the reader the author's cherished travel recollections and experiences both within Australia and in various overseas countries such as India, Morocco, Africa, Croatia, Italy and the Greek Islands. The poems and other writings also exhibit the author's love of the sea and places of natural beauty and solitude.
This is the author's second book, following publication of his first book" Memories and Places in Time" in 2021.
