Natasha's year is going to be great-until Carl Paulson arrives.
When Carl arrives at River Creek, he's an obnoxious, rude know-it-all treating Natasha like she knows nothing about the racing world. Day after day, Carl strikes out at everyone around him with anger and hatred, and his horse has a similar mood as its master.
If this isn't enough for Natasha to worry about, someone is sabotaging the racing tack of River Creek, putting its riders in grave danger.
