Seismic Hazard Assessment for the Democratic Republic of Congo

Earthquakes pose a significant risk in the Democratic Republic of the Congo's eastern provinces. Several earthquakes (M>=6) resulted in fatalities and property damage. Based on the GEM-SSA catalogue and a new seismic model, this book provides an updated comprehensive treatment of seismic hazard assessment. This book should be on the shelf of scientists, engineers, architects, and graduate students who are interested in the study of earthquake disaster mitigation.
