Über Sharing Intention & Willingness to Accept

This thesis investigates lenders¿ sharing intention and willingness to accept in the context of the C2C sharing economy. To this end, a web survey was carried out to assess the impact of a rating, verification and insurance mechanism. Two control variables, risk attitude and familiarity with online sharing platforms, are included in the investigation. The theoretical part provides an overview of existing approaches to enhance participation in the sharing economy. The empirical part addresses the experimental design, data collection (N = 64) and statistical analysis.
