Über Simple Machines
A simple machine is any of several device with few or no moving parts used to modify motion or force to perform work. It changes magnitude or direction of force. Machine is an apparatus using or applying mechanical power and having several parts, each with a definite function and together performing a particular task. A machine is nothing but a piece of equipment that is powered by electrical, mechanical, thermal, or chemical energy to perform one or more operations. A device is a rather sophisticated version of a machine designed for an intended purpose. Device is any piece of equipment made for a particular purpose, especially a mechanical or electrical one while machine is a device that directs and controls energy, often in the form of movement or electricity, to produce a certain effect. Here we will explore more on mechanical concepts of/and simple machines and complex machines. There are six widely accepted simple machines. Gears, Cones, Pendulums and Springs are addition to the six classical simple machines: Lever, Pulley, Screw, Inclined Plane, Wedge and Wheel and Axle.
